European Motor Vehicle Insurance Cover
For Long Term Use in Europe
We offer Motor Policies for UK registered vehicles that are outside UK Long Term. The policy provides the full cover selected across the 28 states of the EU plus Norway, Serbia and Switzerland. An annual Green Card is included with the cover papers. When circumstances dictate the vehicle may be left abroad whilst the insured is in UK.

European motor insurance
Cover for UK-registered vehicles travelling in Europe, whether you’re taking a single trip or driving there regularly throughout the year. We can arrange third-party, third-party fire and theft, or fully comprehensive cover depending on what you need.
Green Card certificates
A Green Card is an internationally recognised proof of insurance. Most European countries no longer require one for UK drivers, but some countries do, and border officials in certain areas still ask for them. We can issue a Green Card quickly if you need one.
Expat insurance
For UK nationals living full-time in Europe with a UK-registered vehicle. Standard UK policies don’t cover this properly. We’ve been arranging expat motor insurance for decades and cover a wide range of European countries.
European breakdown cover
Roadside assistance, towing, accommodation, and vehicle repatriation if your car can’t be repaired locally. More comprehensive than most UK breakdown policies that include Europe as an add-on.
FCA authorisation
We’re authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (firm reference 1013445). That means you’re protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you need it.
